High quality
These magazines are some of the highest quality magazines on the market. I have used everything you can imagine. Everytype of military magazine, Magpul, H&K and ASC mags. The military aluminum mags arnt bad, but I have personally had a few fail at the magazine lips. This is the weak point as all the spring energy is pressing on the bullets that then transfers to the magazine lips. Magpul fails at the lips as well. Magpul will also crack if hit on the side. A guy fell with plate carrier onto rocks and a mag cracked open like brittle plastic. We then had issues with HK mags not feeding, issue was so bad we destroyed all of them in country. ASC mags never had an issue. These are better than $40 HK mags. The quality is second to none. I trusted my life to these mags and they did not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and buy the ASC steel mags and your grand kids will be using them.

Tan body with orange follower
ASC stainless steel mags first came across my attention when I built an AR-10/DPMS 308 I chose them because they allow about.050” inches longer capacity than p mags. So when I built a 20” Heavy barreled AR15 in 223 Wylde I chose ASC 10 rd mags for the same reason. And they work flawlessly. Then I bought some 20 rd tan as with the orange followers. They work flawlessly. I like to keep all my 30 rd mags loaded and ready to go. I thought since I have loaded a lot of ammo to an overall length of 3.010” that I should get some 30 round stainless ASC mags to hold that Ammo and be ready for anything. The reason these mags lose a star from me is because the longer bullets get stuck in the curve of the mag and it gets rounds jammed halfway down the mag where it bends. These mags work fine for my 62gr 556 FMJ plinking rounds that are 2.235” but that makes them average and nothing special for the purpose I wanted to use them for. Maybe if the tool and die maker had built the dies to keep a consistent dimension throughout the full length of the magazine. I’ve yet to shoot them with the 556 plinking rounds but I see no reason why they wouldn’t work with standard Ammo. They look cool but I wish I would have bought a couple more 20 round versions. Just better for my specific ammo

ASC 5.56 magazines
I have two ARs, a DPMS and Palmetto Armory. One is 5.56 and the other is 7.62x39. ASC mags are all I use in both and I wouldn't keep buying them if they were junk or didn't function with 100% reliability.
